Journal of Education and Training Studies aims to promote excellence through dissemination of high-quality research findings, specialist knowledge, and discussion of professional issues that reflect the diversity of this field. Encourage and publish research and studies in the field of consumer education, critical pedagogy, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, educational philosophy, educational psychology, educational technology, distance education.

Articles

  • Original Articles

Original full-length research papers, clearly state their objective or hypothesis, the experimental design and methods used, the essential features of any interventions, the main outcome measures, the result from the study, and a section placing the results in the context of published literature.

  • Review Articles

Provide a summary of evidence derived from primary studies that have been selected and synthesized according to the author's personal and professional perspective.

  • Case Reports

Report of a single case

  • Short Communications

Report results of a pilot study or preliminary findings from a study. The scope of this section is intended to be wide and to encompass methodology and experimental data on subjects of interest to the readers of the Journal.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses double-blind system for peer-review; both reviewers and authors' identities remain anonymous. The paper will be peer-reviewed by three experts; two reviewers from outside and one editor from the journal typically involve in reviewing a submission.

Quarterly, published in January, April, July, and October

 

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

You may keep the following points in mind before contacting us:

1. Generally, we will publish 8-30 articles in one issue. If you collect less than the required number of articles, we suggest you publish them in the regular issue instead of a special issue.
2. All the articles should be peer-reviewed. You may nominate guest editors and reviewers for the special issue. However, we can also assign our reviewers, depending on your needs and requests.
3. The publication schedule should be discussed with the editorial assistant.
4. You will be asked to pay an article processing charge of 300USD once the papers are accepted for publication. To avoid confusion and ensure fairness among customers, we do not waive or reduce fees/charges.
5. After the publication, we will provide you with a free e-journal in PDF. You may also apply for free copies of the printed journals.

 

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

1. Publication and authorship

All submitted manuscripts are subject to strict peer-review process by at least two international reviewers that are experts in the area of the particular paper. The factors that are taken into account in review are relevance, soundness, significance, originality, readability and language. The possible decisions include acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection. If authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit a submission, there is no guarantee that the revised submission will be accepted. Rejected articles will not be re-reviewed.

The journal is committed to prompt publication and rigorous peer-review.

All authors must agree on the content and authorship of submitted manuscripts and must have significantly contributed to the research.

2. Confidentiality

The editors and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

3. Disclosure and conflicts of interest

Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.

Editors should recuse themselves (i.e. should ask a co-editor, associate editor or other editor to review and consider) from considering manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

4. Intellectual property

If an editor is presented with claims that a submitted manuscript or published paper infringes existing copyright or other intellectual property rights, the editor will seek to take reasonably responsive measures.

5. Plagiarism and fabrication

Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Fabrication or manipulation of data or results will not be tolerated.

6. Misconduct

Journal of Education and Training Studies follows the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editors and will take appropriate action when ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted manuscript or published paper.

7. Publication decisions

The editor of Journal of Education and Training Studies is responsible for deciding which of the manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers must always drive such decisions. The editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
